Challenge: How to apply four labels: front, back, top and bottom?
Solution: Two dials rotating in opposite directions with a transfer in the middle. Front and back labels are wiped on as the bottle moves. Top and bottom labels are applied while the bottle is stationary. Inspection and rejection stations were also provided.

Challenge: How to apply labels to top and bottom of multiple size and shape bottles?
Solution: Cam driven "pick and place" places bottles into indexing dial. Linkage on "pick and place" determines whether bottles are loaded top or bottom up. Bottles are labeled, inspected and rejected in the dial.
